Sensei Qahar Azadani, the technical committee chairman and the main instructor of the training camp, held a training seminar for 20 Herat branch black belts, who are participating in the coming Annual Dan Promotion Test.
As scheduled, the second session of this training will be held on May 20, 2010 in the Central Dojo so that to make sure the test takers are ready to appear for their Dan promotion grading.
The Annual Dan Promotion Test will be held on May 28, 2010 under the direct supervision of Sensei Mohammad Seyar Azadani, President of Kyokushin-kan – Afghanistan.
As always, at first, let me thank all Afghanistan Kyokushin-kan members for their hardworking and efforts on developing Kyokushin-kan in Afghanistan and on their contributions to the society.
As you know our organization, Kyokushin-kan, is working very hard to keep a high level of our Dan grades; thus, the Dan examinations held in Kyokushin-kan is not an easy task to clear. The test covers very strict requirements. All the test takers should pass Kihon, Ido, Kata, 10-20 man Kumite and other factors according to Kyokushin-kan International Honbu grading requirements.
You will not pass the test because you are good at Kata or because you are good at Kumite. You need to show your skills for both parts. In addition, you will have to prove that you are a person with a good personality and that you can contribute to Kyokushin-kan development in Afghanistan as a true Kyokushin instructor.
Following the above, we can have very competitive teams of both Kata and Kumite in the World and International Tournaments so that everyone be proud and impressed of what we do here in this war-torn country.
Mohammad Seyar Azadani
President of Kyokushin-kan International – Afghanistan
